Web Designer/Developer

PIXELSOFT FILMS is looking for a talented Web Designer/Developer to create amazing user experiences. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful web design. They should have superior user interface design skills. The successful candidate will be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts. They will be able to transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional designs.


Web Designer & Developer Job Responsibilities:


The role is responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from design and template layout to function and according to a client’s specifications. Strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.


Web Designer & Developer Job Duties:

​

  • Regular exposure to business stakeholders and management, as well as the authority and scope to apply your expertise to many interesting technical problems.

  • Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.

  • The position requires communication with colleagues and often clients.

  • Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units.

  • Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and API’s.

  • Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications.


Web Developer Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as a web designer and developer

  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio

  • Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps

  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools


Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Web Programming Skills, website platform experience in WIX, WordPress, E-Commerce, Teamwork, Verbal Communication, cross-browser compatibility, Web User Interface Design (UI), Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design. BA preferred, or AA with equivalent experience and quality portfolio. Experience in graphic design is required. Bilingual preferred. This is a full-time position. Salary dependent on education and experience. Hybrid remote and in-office work at our Kennewick location.
